Exceptionally regular maintenance, no accidents, and a cleaned interior when it arrives here are three hallmarks of a solid used vehicle, and this Outback had all three in spades. It's the trifecta. On top of that, there is in fact two original keys still! I don't qualify having both sets of original keys as qualifying in the trifecta of indications for a solid used car, but that and the fact that the registration is good until January are great bonuses that reinforce my high opinion of this car. This Outback is the 2.5L engine and the premium trim package, so it's solid but not fancy. This car will get you where you need to go, not cost too much to get you there, and be comfortable but not luxurious about it. More importantly, it has every indication that this car will last a long time yet, and is therefore a solid investment as far as used cars go.
