Needless to say I was super excited about it and think you'll share my enthusiasm. First off, it's an Aero with the 2.8L Turbo V6. Factor in the 6-speed manual and the bright Red exterior finish, and things get a little more interesting. For me, the main event here is this cars history. It's a One-owner car (Carfax says 2 but it was moved from WV when they relocated to FL), super clean inside, outside and underneath. It was garage kept and used sparingly. The first owner was an enthusiast and we had a blast talking Saabs with him. We couldn't find much of anything not to like here. The dash, seats, headliner and carpets look great and it's always been a non-smoker. The BOSE centerpoint audio and navigation still work great, all of the switchgear looks fresh and original and hasn't deteriorated. Even the signature SAAB retractable cupholder looks and works great! I spent a Sunday with the car and can attest to it's condition. Boost comes on strong, the transmission engages properly, and the clutch is solid. AC is blowing cold, the moonroof opens and closes just fine and the brakes feel great. I really had a blast. Just a couple minor areas of wear and tear, but nothing that impacts the way the car looks or drives. Overall, I was very impressed that I resisted the urge to keep this for myself.
