The Volvo S60 and V60 plug-in hybrid drop the Recharge from the name but otherwise carry over with minimal changes.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Volvo V60 and S60 carry over with minimal changes for 2021 although the hybrid was renamed to S60 Recharge and V60 Recharge. LED headlights are now standard across all trims and massaging front seats are now available on the V60 Cross Country.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Volvo V60 and S60 are newly redesigned for this year. The S60 is the sedan and the V60 a wagon built on the same platform. The front-end styling is probably what's most immediately noticeable, with sharper creases around the lower fascia and more accentuation around the headlights, highlighting Volvo's signature "Thor's Hammer" LED design. The interior has also been subtly redesigned with a simplified infotainment system that puts an emphasis on minimalism without sacrificing functionality.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe S60 and V60 have been redesigned for 2019. Featuring a sleek, modern, all-new bodystyle that should remind buyers of the automaker's top-of-the-line S90, the S60 comes with three engine options, which include a 400-horsepower plug-in hybrid system. Four trim levels are available, both front- and all-wheel drive are options, and such luxury-car features as LED headlights, panoramic sunroof and a 9-inch touchscreen console interface. Volvo includes the latest in state-of-the-art automatic safety systems.
SelectBrowse ListingsFor 2017, Volvo has dropped its 2.5L 5-cylinder engine from the S60/V60 range.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe biggest news for 2016 is the availability of a S60 Cross Country sedan. Previously only available on wagon models, the Cross Country trim lifts the ride height by about two and a half inches, while adding all-wheel drive. This combination gives Volvo a vehicle type that few other companies can boast about having in their lineup: a sedan-style crossover. Plenty of people want a bit more off-road capability and ruggedness in their car but don't necessarily want a station wagon body style. They now have a great reason to be excited over Volvo's new offering.
SelectBrowse ListingsThe Volvo S60 lineup gets a completely new 'Drive-E' generation of 4-cylinder engines beginning with the 2015 model year. They're mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission and have further fuel-saving measures such as engine stop-start technology. For this year, the new Drive-E engines are offered only for front-wheel-drive models, while all-wheel-drive models retain the carry-over 5- and 6-cylinder engines. Other new features for the S60 T5 models include new electric power steering, and a standard power passenger seat. New options include power retractable mirrors in the Premier Plus trim, a Lane Keeping Aid added to the Technology Package, a new Park Assist Pilot option and a new Sport Package with 19-inch wheels, sport seats, and steering-wheel paddle shifters. On top T6 R-Design models there's a newly optional Nubuck textile/leather upholstery. Otherwise new or reconfigured packages include the Climate Package, Blind Spot Information (BLIS) Package, as well as many standalone options.
