For 2026, the EX40 carries over visually unchanged and receives minimal changes like a new heat pump on the plus trim only, and the digital service package which becomes the Volvo car connect plus package that adds google services and related apps for a period of 4 or 5 years. The RWD and AWD Core trims have also been discontinued for 2026, and a new Ultra Black Edition trim has been added.
