SelectBrowse ListingsThe Saturn Sky is recognized as one of the flashiest models to be sold by the now-departed General Motors' brand. A two-seat, rear-wheel drive soft top convertible, the Sky was added to the 2007 Saturn product range. Based on the Kappa architecture first showcased with the Pontiac Solstice that premiered one year prior to the Saturn Sky, the 2007 sports car was identified by its unique exterior styling and a more robust standard equipment list including anti-lock braking system, cruise control and alarm system. Compared to the Pontiac Solstice, the Saturn Sky also featured improved sound insulation and different suspension dynamics. The Sky roadster was introduced with a base trim as well as a Red Line performance level propelled by the Ecotec engine family. A naturally-aspirated 2.4-liter engine generating177 horsepower came on the entry-level Saturn Sky while the Sky Red Line was propelled by a 260-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter powerplant. Both versions of the roadster were available with a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. The Saturn Sky Red Line's performance was complemented by sport-themed touches such as 18-inch wheels. In its second year of production, the Sky gained added handling competence with a standard limited slip differential and StabiliTrak electronic stability control. The Saturn Sky's production run ended after the 2009 model year.
