2008 9-7X

A new high-performance Aero model, with a powerful 390-horsepower V8, joins Saab's 9-7X lineup for 2008. Otherwise, 20-inch wheels are now available on all models and high-polished aluminum 18-inch wheels are available on 4.2i and 5.3i models. Two new exterior finishes are available: Cocoa Metallic and Carbon Flash Metallic (Aero only).

For 2007, a tire pressure monitoring system is now standard in all Saab 9-7Xs. OnStar has turn-by-turn navigation, and Crystal Blue Metallic is now available as an exterior color.

About 9-7X

In 2005, Saab introduced the all-new 9-7X SUV, as thecarmaker officially entered the SUV market. Displacement on Demand technologywas added in 2006, helping to increase fuel economy. The V6 and V8 engines bothgot a slight boost in horsepower this year, and a stability control system wasmade standard with some minor trim shuffling. For 2007, a tire-pressure monitorwas made standard as was one-year of included OnStar service with GPSnavigation. In 2008, the high-performance Aero model debuted, offering a 390horsepower V8 engine with upgraded suspension, braking and steering systems.The only major change for 2009 was the addition of Bluetooth connectivity.
