Mercedes-Benz GLS450 and GLS550 models both utilize a nine-speed automatic transmission. Generating 577 horsepower, the Mercedes-AMG GLS63 sport tailoring includes a seven-speed gearbox. 4Maric all-wheel drive comes standard on every Mercedes-Benz GLS model. A diesel-powered GLS350d was initially announced for the 2017 premium crossover lineup but was dropped with potential release coming at a later date.
