About 57

In 2004, the Maybach 57 sedan was introduced, offering a cavalcade of ultra-luxury options and features found in very few other cars save for the Rolls Royce Phantom. It boasted a powerful 5.5-liter V12 engine that could deliver 543 horsepower. Following no changes in 2005, the Maybach 57 entered 2006 with larger engine that could put out 604 horsepower, a new sports-tuned brakes and suspension system, subtle changes to the interior and exterior styling, and a new Parking Assist Feature that was offered as a standard option. During this year the 57 S version was released. It featured a sportier style, larger wheels and few signature options. A special Business Package was unveiled for this year, too, offering a roaming office for executives. The luxury supercar would pass through 2008 and 2009 with no major changes. In 2010, Maybach added Bluetooth controls for rear seat passengers. The 2011 Maybach featured the new Maybach Manufaktur badge on interior upholstery, with nominal other changes being made for this body year or for 2012.
