2020 Continental

The Lincoln Continental remains mostly unchanged for 2020, though the trim lineup has been simplified by rolling the two lowest trim levels together into a "standard" trim. Since pricing has been left alone, the base model Continental now offers a slightly better value than it did last year.

About Continental

The popular Continental by Lincoln received a complete facelift for the 1998 model year, getting a larger grille and smoother, more curvaceous corners, alongside various minor interior refinements. For 1999, the safety features were updated with newly added and standard side-impact airbags for the driver and the passenger. Five new body colors were also added for this model year, in addition to an upgraded stereo system and new wheel designs. In 2000, side airbags were added for the rear passengers, the Belt Minder system was integrated and an emergency trunk release handled was introduced. Only subtle changes were made for the 2001 model year, including: a garage door opening system (universal), two new body colors, and complementary maintenance for first 36,000 miles. The 2002 Continental carried over unchanged from the previous year, adding a powered moon roof and premium Alpine sound system. Following this year, the model would be discontinued, replaced by the LS and MKS.
