2019 Lexus UX trims

2019 UX

2019 brings the introduction of the Lexus UX. Marketed to fit just beneath the NX in both size and price in the vehicle lineup, the UX adds a new entry-level eco-friendly luxury crossover option for consumers. Outside, the design is Lexus-familiar, sporting the ubiquitous spindle grille, giant front intake inlets, and sharp lines overshadowed by wide fender flares all around. All in all the design is meant to remind buyers of the UX' big brothers, the RX and NX. Powertrain options include a choice between an efficient 2. 4-cylinder engine and a hybrid all-wheel drive system.

About IS

Lexus strategically-created the IS sedan in 2001 as a competitor to the popular small sport sedans becoming to German luxury car companies. Built upon a compact rear-wheel drive platform, the 2001 Lexus IS 300 wore a sporty exterior appearance and featured a 3.0-liter V-6 engine producing 215 horsepower. While the sedan body style would be the backbone design for the IS, Lexus introduced a SportCross wagon model in 2002. The practically-minded IS 300 SportCross would remain in production until the sedan's second generation redesign in 2006. Optional all-wheel drive was part of the second generation Lexus IS range. The small sedan's inclusion of a 5.0-liter V-8 engine under a domed hood would bring a new high-performance mark to the IS line. The 416-horsepower Lexus IS F featured sensational rear-wheel drive momentum equipped with sport-tailored bodywork, lowered suspension, 19-inch BBS wheels and Brembo braking. Produced from 2008 to 2014, acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour for the IS F can be recorded in 4.6 seconds. From 2010 to 2015, the Lexus IS lineup also featured a two-door convertible body style. Equipped with a power-retractable hardtop roof, the four-passenger Lexus IS C was available with a 2.5-liter V-6 or 3.5-liter V-6 engine. A third generation IS arrived in 2014 gaining a curvy new look and Lexus' new grille. For 2017, the Lexus IS range received a front and rear exterior restyle as well as minor interior make-over that includes standard LED headlights and Lexus Safety System+ on all trim levels.
