2015 RC F

For 2015, Lexus introduces the all-new RC 350 luxury sport coupe. The 2-door coupe rides on its own platform and is not derived from a separate sedan; rather, it is a standalone model. A sexy, athletic shape is paired perfectly with a 306-horsepower 3.5L V6, which is itself mated to an 8-speed transmission in rear-wheel-drive versions. The 2+2 coupe is also available in AWD, which Lexus calls "all-weather-drive," and those cars feature a 6-speed automatic. Lexus claims the dash from 0 to 60 mph comes in just 5.8 seconds in the rear-wheel drive version, with a top speed of 143. The manufacturer also states an estimated fuel economy of 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway for rear-wheel drive versions. Pricing for the rear-wheel drive RC 350 begins at $42,790. About RC F

The first V-8 powered Lexus fixed-roof sport coupe since the SC 400 was discontinued in 2000, the RC F made its debut for the 2015 model year. The 5.0-liter V-8 engine of the Lexus RC-F generates 467 horsepower that is channeled through an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift transmission. A high-performance luxury two-door, the Lexus RC F embodies strong driving dynamics. Developed on professional race circuits such as Fiji Speedway and Nurburgring Nordschleife, the attractive style of the premium coupe employs function intake and Outlet ducting as well as an automatically deploying four-link rear wing. Optional carbon fiber pieces are available on the Lexus RC F. Handling of the lowered RC F is bolstered through thanks partially to the use of Brembo brakes and an optional Torque Vectoring Differential. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 second, the Lexus RC F can reach a top speed of 168 miles per hour. An Active Sound Control system allows occupants to enjoy simulated engine sounds through the cabin without affecting the use of the audio system.
