The Range Roger Evoque moves into 2021 with a few minor changes, only one engine option is available, a new infotainment system was added, and minor updates were made to the options and standard features.

Launching into it's second generation the 2020 Range Rover Evoque presents consumers with a new Evoque that's got a very similar footprint and exterior design from its predecessor despite being re-designed from the ground up. A longer wheelbase and an extra 21.54 cubic feet of useable cargo space provide more versatility and added comfort for rear passengers. Along with the new platform, a 48-volt mild hybrid version of its four-cylinder engine is also available producing 296 horsepower with the aid of its engine-mounted starter generator that utilizes stored energy during its regenerative braking cycle under 11 mph to propel the vehicle from a dead stop.

The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque returns for 2019 mostly unchanged. The biggest news for this year is a new touch screen interface that is easier to use and more attractive to look at, helping to keep the cabin looking fresh and modern.

The biggest news for 2018 is the availability of 2 new powertrain options. Both are 4-cylinder turbocharged engines. One capable of 286 horsepower and 295-foot pounds of torque and the other 237 horsepower and 251-foot pounds of torque means both engines are quite capable. Other updates coming to the 2018 Range Rover Evoque include auto-dimming exterior mirrors, available 4G Wi-Fi connectivity, new exterior paint jobs, and a new Lunar/Ivory interior color scheme for the SE Dynamic Convertible model. Buyers can also select a Landmark Edition Evoque, which has special 19-inch wheels, a Carpathian Grey Contrast Roof, body kit with Graphite Atlas finishes, and an exclusive Moraine Blue paint option.

The biggest news for 2017 is the availability of a new convertible model, helping to expand the lineup. Based on the 2-door Coupe, the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible sits atop the Evoque lineup, though it still starts at a reasonable $52,000. Most convertible SUV's tend to look awkward, but the little Range Rover takes to a convertible top like a duck to water, creating the best looking drop top SUV sold to the North American market in decades.

For 2016, the Evoque gets updated styling front and rear, with a fresh bumper, new grille treatment, and optional all-LED headlights. Interior changes include new seats and door casings and a new infotainment system with 8-inch touchscreen. A hands-free tailgate is available, as are safety features such as a head-up display and lane-keep assist. MSRP starts at $41,475.

For 2015, the Evoque gets rear cross traffic detection to supplement the available blind spot detection system that's already available on the vehicle. In addition, the Evoque gets an optional self-parking system, which should make parallel parking in tight spaces a snap.

The Range Rover Evoque gets a new 9-speed automatic transmission. Innovative Advanced Park Assist and high-tech adaptive cruise control are newly available.

The Range Rover Evoque gets a new entry level version for 2013. Price has been reduced by $2,000 at the cost of a fully leather interior and a panoramic sunroof. However this being a Range Rover the entry level Evoque Pure still features an aluminum sunroof and a synthetic suede interior.

The Range Rover Evoque is all-new for 2012. Based on the already established LR2 platform, the new Evoque features bold styling and the choice of either 2- or 4-door bodies.
