For 2009, the LR3 is largely unchanged. The lineup has been moved around, and the HSE and Luxury trims are now options package. 19" wheels are now standard.

2008 Land Rover LR3 trims

2008 LR3

For 2008, the V6 engine is no longer available in the U.S. market, leaving only V8-powered Land Rover LR3 SE and HSE models. Seven-passenger seating is also now standard across the model line. A power passenger seat is a new standard feature, and the HSE model gets a power-adjustable steering wheel with memory function. New stitching is part of the premium leather upholstery. There's also a new walnut wood trim inside the HSE, along with a black lacquer finish available at no extra charge.

2007 LR3

The Land Rover LR3 continues to offer near Range Rover luxury at a more affordable price for 2007, with 2006's base style being replaced by a V6 version of the SE trim. A 35/30/35 split folding second row seat is now standard with the V8, as is third row seating, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and rear park assist. A fixed alpine roof and a harman/kardon audio system are now standard on all LR3s.

About LR3

The Land Rover LR3 was introduced in 2005, offering an all-wheel-drive SUV that was suited for in the city or off-the-road. It feature technologically advanced gadgetry, luxurious interior amenities, a sleek, sexy design and a 4.0-liter V6 engine that was rated at 216 horsepower. In 2006, the LR3 featured a standard third-row seat. The 2007 model offered leather seating, a powered sunroof and a nine-speaker premium Harmon Kardon stereo system. In 2008, the LR3s base V6 engine was dropped in favor of the more powerful 4.4-liter V8, the standard and only engine now offered on the LR3. A powered passenger seat was offered as an optional add-on, and minor changes were made to various trim levels. In 2009, the final production year, the LR3 only offered one trim level, and various exterior revisions, like changes to fender flares and exterior trims were made.
