About Gallardo

Lamborghini unveiled the all-new Gallardo in 2004, boasting a 5.0-liter V10 engine that made 494 horsepower. There were no significant changes made to this supercar in 2005. In 2006, Lamborghini rolled out the Gallardo SE as a limited trim, offering more horsepower, enhanced suspension, more responsive steering, new wheels and body paint options and new interior trim options. In 2007, a convertible version of the Gallardo was released called the Spyder. In 2008, the Superleggera was debuted for just a year, a faster version of the Gallardo coupe. In 2009, the Gallardo was renamed to the Gallardo LP560-4; the car now featured all-wheel-drive, a more powerful engine, more weight reduction and LED headlamps and tail lamps, as well as minor body style changes. In 2010, Lamborghini launched the LP 560-4 Spyder with rear-wheel-drive as well as the rear-wheel-drive Valentino Balboni. In 2011, the 570-4 Spyder Performante convertible and the 570-4 Superleggera coupe were added to the Gallardo lineup, offering less weight and more speed. No substantial changes were made to Gallardo for the 2012 model year.
