To increase its luxury appeal the 2009 Kia Amanti upgraded its audio system to include Sirius Satellite Radio and MP3 capabilities with auxiliary jack. They've also increased the display monitor size by 1.5 inches.

Kia's large luxury car, the Amanti, is given a cosmetic facelift for 2007. The appearance of the front and back has been revised, including new headlamps and taillamps and a dual exhaust. The interior gets a redesigned instrument panel, a new head unit for the sound system, new audio controls mounted on the steering wheel, a revised base cloth upholstery, and newly available black wood and metal trims. The mechanical changes are especially significant in the new Amanti. It's significantly lighter than before, and also gets more power, in the way of a new 264-horsepower, 3.8L V6, which is 32 percent more powerful than last year's engine and also brings better fuel economy than the previous engine, according to the automaker. Larger 17-inch machined alloy wheels are now available, and power adjustable pedals are a new option.
