The Jaguar XE returns for 2019 with a few additional features including a voice activated navigation system. It also gets a new "300 Sport" model which includes 19-inch wheels, sport seats with contrasting stitching and a dark satin grey grille.

After being added as an all new vehicle to the Jaguar Lineup in 2017 the new Jaguar XE gets a handful of updates for 2018. They include more powerful 247-horsepower 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder, an improved infotainment system and increases in active safety technology. The optional Surround Camera System now includes Forward Traffic Detection, which alerts drivers when a vehicle is crossing their path.

The Jaguar XE is a brand new car from Jaguar, slotting into the compact sports sedan segment and providing an entry level vehicle for the Jaguar lineup. Arriving as a 2017 model year vehicle, the Jaguar XE's creation is made possible by new modular architecture also responsible for the new F-PACE crossover. The Ian Callum-designed XE features sporty proportions while also delivering considerable interior space. Built with extensive use of aluminum, high-level construction of the Jaguar XE is enhanced by firm handling as well as electric power steering. Three powerplant options have been prepared for the XE sport sedan. The XE 25t features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder while the 35t features a supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine generating 340 horsepower. A 2.0-liter Ingenium diesel engine option has also been made available for the 2017 XE 20d. The turbocharged diesel powerplant produces 318 pound-feet of torque at a low-rpm range. Standard features included on all Jaguar XE include rain-sensing windshield wipers, dual-zone climate control and the company's latest InControl Touch infotainment system operating from an eight-inch touchscreen.
