2021 Jaguar F-TYPE trims

2021 F-TYPE

For 2021, the Jaguar F-Type gets a refreshed exterior and minor changes to options and equipment. The tech features introduced last year carry over, but this year gets a 12.3" reconfigurable gauge cluster, with the options of displaying navigation maps or a center tachometer on sport mode. The SVR trim got dropped from the lineup, also the manual transmission on all trims.

For 2020, Jaguar has eliminated the manual transmission option from the spec sheet. A front parking aid as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard. A Checkered Flag edition comes with an assortment of unique trim pieces.

The Jaguar F-type gets a couple of minor additions for the 2019 model year. The biggest change is to the infotainment system which now offers a larger touchscreen with an improved interface, making navigation easier and more intuitive. Also new for 2019 are several standard driving aids such as automatic braking and a Lane Keep Assist program, which should make driving the F-Type easier and safer.

2018 F-TYPE

For 2018, Jaguar adds a new turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder base model to the F-Type lineup. It makes 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and is only available mated to 8-speed automatic transmission. Also new are R-Dynamic and '400 Sport' trims. LED headlights are now standard, and an 8-inch touchscreen now handles infotainment duty. The F-Type S trim has been discontinued.

The F-TYPE was introduced as the classically inspiredroadster that was based upon, in part, the 1960s E-Type roadster. It wasoffered in both convertible and coupe body styles. A new hardtop version wasintroduced during this year that made it possible to have both at once.Designed as a super-luxury car, the F-Type was made to compete with cars like the Porsche 911 and the Maserati, while conforming to the trademark Jaguardesign and moniker. It featured a very capable and brutish 3.0-litersupercharged V6 engine that delivered 340 horsepower and 332 pound-feet oftorque.
