2007 i-290

The Isuzu i-290 and i-370 are new models for 2007. They are essentially a Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon behind their Isuzu grilles, which means they should be a tough and reliable option for those in search of a personal size pickup.

About i-290

The Isuzu i-290 got a more capable engine in the 2007 model, a 2.9-liter inline four-cylinder that made 185 horsepower and that came with an automatic transmission. The i-370 crew cab offered an even beefier engine, a 3.7-liter inline five-cylinder that made 242 horsepower. In 2008, the popular i-Series Isuzu pickup trucks saw little changes made to them with a few trim level modifications, including the redaction of the LS trim level for the i-290.
