Competition to the Mercedes-Benz GL or Audi Q7, the INFINITI JX35 was assembled at Nissan's Smyrna, Tennessee production plant. Offered as a front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive model, the JX35 featured the pairing of a 265-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine with a continuously variable transmission. Boasting greater 2nd and 3rd row seat legroom than the Cadillac Escalade, the INFINITI JX35's true three-row cabin provided premium comfort as well as practicality. Standard features on the luxury crossover included leather seating, power front seats, tri-zone automatic temperature control and INFINITI Intelligent Key. An available Deluxe Touring Package on the INFINITI JX35 added Advance Climate Control System operating with climate-controlled front seats and a Plasmacluster air purifier. In 2014, the JX35 was renamed the QX60 in compliance to INFINITI's new model name structure.
