2007 Entourage

The Hyundai Entourage was released in 2006 as an all-new 2007 model. The 2007 Entourage comes equipped with a 240-horsepower, 3.8L DOHC V6 engine, backed up by a five-speed automatic transmission. Pricing starts below $24,000, and three different trim levels allow buyers to configure the vehicle with their ideal number of goodies. About Entourage

For 2007, Hyundai entered the United States minivan market for the first time with the Entourage. The seven-passenger Hyundai Entourage was largely a rebranded version of Kia Sedona minivan. A 3.8-liter Lambda V-6 engine featuring continuously variable valve timing powered both vehicles. Generating 242 horsepower, the six-cylinder engine is paired with a five-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel economy for the 2007 Hyundai Entourage was rated at 18 miles per gallon city and 25 miles per gallon highway. The major difference defining the Entourage from the Kia Sedona is the richer standard features list. Offered in three trim levels, the 2007 Hyundai Entourage GLE model of the minivan came with standard amenities such as air conditioning, cruise control, keyless entry, AM/FM stereo with CD player and power windows.

On the top-trimmed 2007 Entourage Limited, the automatic climate control, 17-inch aluminum wheels and leather seating is included. Safety equipment on the minivan was also abundant as front and side airbags, traction control as well as four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking system came on every Entourage for 2007. The safety features on the Entourage allowed the minivan to claim a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration five-star safety rating and a Gold Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

For 2008, the SE trim level was dropped from the Hyundai Entourage line-up. Horsepower for the 2008 Entourage increased to 250 horsepower while the fuel economy rating decreased to 23 mile per gallon highway. Due to sluggish demand, the Hyundai Entourage was available for only two years concluding production after the 2008 model year.
