For 2022, the base trim level has been renamed Pro, otherwise the GMC Sierra 1500 Limited carries over with minimal changes.

The GMC Sierra Limited is a new addition to the GMC lineup for 2019, however it's based heavily on last year's GMC Sierra 1500. While the Standard Sierra gets a redesign for this year, GMC have determined that the previous generation Sierra is still capable of keeping up with the newest pickup trucks as long as the correct options and equipment are specced. Since this vehicle is based on an older platform, GMC have managed to offer buyers a lot of value with the Sierra Classic. Though its base price is similar to the new Sierra 1500 that base price includes considerably more equipment as well as a more powerful engine.
