A single, well-appointed trim is available, and the 500e has its own distinct look, with unique front and rear fascias and rocker panel treatment, along with a slight rear wing and signature 15-inch alloy wheels. The 500e uses an 83-kilowatt electric motor producing 111 horsepower and 147 ft-lb of torque, with power coming from a 24-kilowatt-hour, 97-cell lithium-ion battery pack. A single-speed transmission puts power to the wheels, and Fiat claims the combination will propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in around 9 seconds. The 2013 Fiat 500e currently only available in California and is priced at $31,800.
