For 2019 Ferrari introduces faster version of the 488, calling it the 488 Pista. The new version handles better and is faster in a straight line than the standard version thanks to a 176-lb lighter curb weight. In addition, the Pista gets an enhanced version of the engine powering the standard 488, with higher compression and less rotating mass. Rounding out the changes are stiffer springs, new carbon fiber aero and brand-new Michelin tires that have been specially developed for the car. Unlike the 488 GTB, the 488 Pista is available only as a coupe.
