About 4C

Leading a complete revival of the Alfa Romeo brand in North America, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles chose an all-new sports car to represent the Italian brand's image. Arriving after the 8C Competizione and 8C Spider supercars that were sold in a very limited run, the Alfa Romeo 4C marked a more permanent establishment in the United States marketplace. A rear-wheel drive, two-seat sports car, the 4C was first presented as a coupe for the 2015 model year. The sports car's attractive Italian body is crafted using carbon fiber with considerable work focused in weight optimization. Powered through a mid-mounted, turbocharged 1.7-liter four-cylinder engine generating 240 horsepower, the lightweight Alfa Romeo 4C sails from 0 to 60 in the early 4-second range. When the car debuted, 500 examples were outfitted as Launch Edition models coming with a unique front end, Track package and carbon fiber spoiler. In late 2015, a convertible Spider version of the Alfa Romeo 4C was added to the line-up.
