The EQB slots into the Mercedes line-up between the subcompact GLA and the larger and more expensive GLC. It competes with other mid-size SUV's such as the Audi Q4 e-tron, Cadillac Lyriq and Volvo C40 Recharge. A third-row is available which brings the passenger capacity from five to seven making it a strong competitor in the EV market.
