Competing in a red-hot crossover market the Chevy Trailblazer looks to give GM a leg up in an increasingly popular segment. Although it shares little with the Trailblazer models that came before, the new 2021 model gets a lot right. With copious storage capacity and a long standard feature list that includes a 7-inch touchscreen-based infotainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, torquey, turbocharged engine choices and solid off-road capabilities all for under $20,000 there is enough here to get excited about. Its segment competition, the Hyundai Kona, Ford EcoSport and Jeep Renegade the Trailblazer have their work cut out.
