2011 Volkswagen Ratings, Reviews and Awards
Volkswagen kept some things the same in 2011 while revealing great changes in other areas. The car to get the most dramatic update for the 2011 model year was the Jetta. The 2011 Jetta is roomier than its predecessors and larger all around. Interestingly enough, the revamped Jetta has a weaker engine compared to earlier models. Options include a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 115 horsepower, a 2.5-liter five-cylinder with 170 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder with 140 horsepower, and on GLI models only, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 200 horsepower. Elsewhere in Volkswagen's lineup, models get a few small updates. The Routan van gets a 3.6-liter V6 engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. 2011 Volkswagen Golf models see the addition of Bluetooth connectivity. The 2011 CC, the brand's luxury sedan, gets a rearranged standard and optional features list.
