2006 Acura Ratings, Reviews and Awards
Acura continues to focus on quality and not quantity this year with just five models in its luxury line. Acura makes a series of improvements this year focused on comfort and safety starting with a wholly redesigned TSX. The design features a refreshed front and rear and reimagined side sills for a sharper appearance. Acura also retuned the engine for enhanced horsepower and torque. The RL, Acura’s flagship model, debuts some improved safety features. The MDX received an update to its interior but remained mostly the same as the previous year’s model. The RL also gets a safety update with a new collision mitigating brake system and adaptive cruise control. The TL model’s new safety features include a new tire pressure monitoring system and engine management tech. Three of the models, the MDX, RSX, and the TL also received updated interior accents and exterior color choices.
