Maintaining a lineup of four luxury products (two cars and two sport utility vehicles) for 2005, Lincoln offers V-8 engine power in all of their vehicle. The most notable changes occurring in the 2005 Lincoln product line is connected to the Navigator. A revised 5.4-liter V-8 engine has been added to the 2005 Lincoln Navigator including the same 300 horsepower as the previous powerplant but producing better power at the low range. The engine was paired with a new six-speed automatic transmission allowing for smoother power delivery with two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive models. Introduced to the Aviator and Navigator last year, Lincoln has added AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control to both sport utility vehicles as standard equipment for 2005.
