The Land Rover LR3 was introduced in
2005, offering an all-wheel-drive SUV that was suited for in the city or off-the-road. It feature technologically advanced gadgetry, luxurious interior amenities, a sleek, sexy design and a 4.0-liter V6 engine that was rated at 216 horsepower. In 2006, the LR3 featured a standard third-row seat. The 2007 model offered leather seating, a powered sunroof and a nine-speaker premium Harmon Kardon stereo system. In 2008, the LR3s base V6 engine was dropped in favor of the more powerful 4.4-liter V8, the standard and only engine now offered on the LR3. A powered passenger seat was offered as an optional add-on, and minor changes were made to various trim levels. In
2009, the final production year, the LR3 only offered one trim level, and various exterior revisions, like changes to fender flares and exterior trims were made.
