2019 Nissan LEAF ratings and reviews

Receiving a second generation re-engineering last year, the all-electric 2019 Nissan LEAF is instantly realized for its fresh, modern appearance. Assembled into a hatchback shape conforming to a 0.28 coefficient of drag, the 2019 LEAF’s bodywork incorporates the Nissan V-Motion grille, rear spoiler and a front-mounted electrical charging port concealed ahead of the vehicle’s hood. Available in three trim levels for 2019 (S, SV and SL), the Nissan LEAF includes a five-passenger cabin, Nissan Intelligent Key with Push Button Start, automatic temperature control and Automatic Emergency Braking. A quick charging system, 17-inch machined finished alloy wheels and NissanConnect EV telematics are added as standard equipment with LEAF SV while the top-trimmed SL boasts a Bose premium audio system, Blind Spot Warning and Intelligent Driver Alertness. All versions of the vehicle are fitted with a 110-kilowatt synchronous electric motor generating 147 horsepower. A 40-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery allows the 2019 LEAF to travel up to 150 miles on a charge. A longer range version of the Nissan LEAF is planned later in the 2019 calender year.
