2017 BMW i3 ratings and reviews

For 2017, BMW offers the i3 electric car in three options, what it's calling ""worlds."" The base-level trim, or world, is the Mega i3. The Mega has some standard features, including 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, DC fast-charging port, a navigation system, heated seats, and ConnectedDrive from BMW, which syncs with your smartphone. The next world, Giga, offers a leather and wood interior. The top-level world, Tera, has full leather upholstery, leather-covered dash with either dark oak or light eucalyptus trim, and 19-inch forged alloy wheels. Under the hood, the 2017 i3 has gotten a better, more efficient battery. 2017 models with a 94 Ah battery now have a range of up to 114 miles, 50 percent more than models with a 60 Ah battery. Importantly, the i3 has a 2-cylinder gas engine that helps to recharge the battery pack. It's available as an option, not a standard feature.
