Changes made to the 2001 INFINITI lineup are highlighted by an all-new INFINITI QX4. Propelled by substantially improved performance from a 3.5-liter V-6 delivering 240 horsepower, the new look 2001 INFINITI QX4 boasts ne w optional amenities such as a navigation system and rear seat entertainment system. The 2001 QX4 will also be the first time buyers of the INFINITI sport utility vehicle can choose a two-wheel drive or the All-Mode 4WD drivetrain model. INFINITI's 2001 three-vehicle car range consists of the G20, I30 and Q45. The INFINITI G20 and Q45 are uncharged for 2001 while the I30 features a handful of minor improvements such as a new rear view mirror with an integrated digital compass.
