Lucid has had a good amount of success with its Air model, winning multiple awards regarding its impressive range and luxurious, futuristic design. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that they wanted to expand this success into the SUV segment, leading to the development of the Gravity. The Gravity competes with other electric SUV's including the BMW iX and the Rivian R1S. It stands out by including unique charging technology that uses the rear motor to boost voltage for a much faster charge time, adding up to 200 miles in only 11 minutes, that is almost a third of the time it takes a level 3 charger to charge up a battery fully. The Gravity also has access to NACS charging stations thanks to a standard NACS port. Power output numbers are also extremely competitive when it comes to EV standards, with the base trim making 560 horsepower, a figure that only goes up from there.
