New for 2019:Toyota Trucks, SUVs, and Vans

Toyota’s big news for 2019 is a redesigned RAV4, the company’s popular compact crossover SUV. Toyota also reworks the C-HR lineup while adding new Entune 3.0 infotainment with Apple CarPlay. Nightshade and SX packages arrive to give various SUVs and trucks a custom look, and AWD is now offered with SE trim on the Sienna minivan.

2019 Toyota 4Runner

  • New Nightshade Special Edition debuts, based on Limited trim
  • TRD Pro version gets an upgraded suspension with 2.5-in. Fox internal bypass shocks, along with revised front skid plate, TRD Pro roof rack, JBL premium sound system, and a power sunroof

2019 Toyota C-HR

  • Trim levels revised to LE, XLE, and Limited
  • Base price drops by more than $1,500
  • XLE gains standard Smart Key entry with push-button start, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert
  • New family of Entune 3.0 infotainment systems with standard Apple CarPlay
  • Interior changes: XLE has new gray cloth seats, while Limited has leather upholstery
  • New exterior paint colors: Blue Flame, Blue Flame and Black, Silver Knockout and Black, Blizzard Pearl and Black

2019 Toyota Highlander

  • Based on SE trim, a new Nightshade Special Edition debuts, giving the Highlander a blacked-out appearance

2019 Toyota Land Cruiser

  • Toyota makes no changes to the 2019 Land Cruiser

2019 Toyota RAV4

  • Completely redesigned
  • Built on a significantly stronger vehicle platform
  • Standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 8-speed automatic transmission
  • Available gas-electric hybrid drivetrain with continuously variable transmission
  • Three different all-wheel-drive (AWD) systems are available, including a torque-vectoring AWD system with rear driveline disconnect
  • New Multi-Terrain Select traction system, combined with more ground clearance, said to give RAV4 improved off-road capability
  • New Entune 3.0 infotainment systems with Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, and Verizon-powered Wi-Fi Connect
  • Standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 package of driver-assistance and collision-avoidance systems, adding road sign recognition and Lane Tracing Assist, which is a lane-centering assist system
  • Introduces new Digital Display Rearview Mirror to the Toyota lineup
  • Available heated and ventilated front seats, panoramic glass sunroof

2019 Toyota Sequoia

  • Toyota makes no changes to the 2019 Sequoia

2019 Toyota Sienna

  • Infotainment system upgraded to include Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa compatibility
  • New LE Preferred package includes keyless entry with push-button engine starting, remote illuminated entry, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert
  • SE Preferred package gains rear parking-assist sensors, premium JBL sound system, and dynamic navigation system
  • AWD is now available for the SE trim level
  • New exterior paint color: Celestial Silver

2019 Toyota Tacoma

  • New Tacoma SX package adds blacked-out exterior parts and black wheels to the base Access Cab with SR trim

2019 Toyota Tundra

  • Based on the Double Cab SR5, the Tundra SX package strips the truck of badges, combines body-color trim with black wheels, and includes upgraded front bucket seats
