Every year, J.D. Power surveys thousands of verified new vehicle owners in order to learn what has gone right and what has gone wrong during the first 90 days of ownership. This information is gathered into industry benchmark studies, including the annual J.D. Power Initial Quality Study (IQS).

Each vehicle that meets a minimum standard in terms of survey responses is given a “problems per 100 vehicles” score, or PP100. This PP100 score is based on what consumers who own the vehicle think of its quality. The lower the PP100 score, the better the model performs in terms of overall quality.

In this post, you’ll find the 10 highest rated 2020 family SUVs for quality according to the consumers who own them. They are listed in descending order by PP100 score, and you’ll find the highest-quality family SUV at the bottom.
