Top-Rated 2016 Coupes and Convertibles in Quality

Christian Wardlaw | Jun 22, 2016

For 30 years, the annual J.D. Power Initial Quality StudySM (IQS) has served as a benchmark study of owner satisfaction with new-vehicle quality. The study measures owner-reported design- and defect-related problems experienced during the first 90 days of ownership, and in 2016 is based on more than 80,000 survey responses.

Power Circle Ratings (PCRs) are derived from the research, designed to visually reflect and summarize the study’s findings and to help consumers when they are shopping for a new vehicle.

This buyer’s guide contains the 2016 coupes and convertibles that are top-rated for initial quality. Each model earns a Power Circle Rating of 4 or 5 out of a possible 5 for initial quality during the first 90 days of ownership.
