2009 Nissan Armada

After being restyled and enhanced for 2008, the full-size Armada-the largest offering in the Nissan lineup-received yet another round of enhancements for the 2009 model year. Built on the same F-Alpha frame as the full-size Nissan Titan pickup, the Armada features a 4-wheel independent suspension and 2- or 4-wheel drive. The seating may be configured for up to 8 passengers. Already in showrooms, Nissan has consolidated many of the equipment packages on the full-size SUV for 2009. The options previously included in the LE Preferred package and LE Towing package are now standard on the LE base model. In addition, 20-inch chrome-clad wheels are available on the Armada LE when equipped with the Technology package.

2009 Nissan Frontier

The current Nissan Frontier was introduced in 2005 with a choice of 4- or 6-cylinder power, king or crew cab, and 2- or 4-wheel drive. For 2009, the Frontier receives a minor facelift including new wheels and paint colors, and several new options. The Nismo model has also been replaced by a new PRO-4X model.

2009 Nissan Murano

Following on the heels of the popular first-generation Nissan Murano, the company has already launched the second-generation, all-new 2009 Murano. The car-like Murano offers a blend of style, luxury and sporty road-based driving dynamics not found in the more rugged Nissan Pathfinder or Nissan Xterra, Nissan's two other 5-passenger SUVs. While the new Murano features the same 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine-now rated at 265 hp-and a continuously-variable transmission as the previous model, it has been reworked for additional smoothness and economy, the company says. The SUV has also gone decidedly upscale with a more luxurious interior, and a longer list of standard amenities.

2009 Nissan Quest

Nissan has added standard speed-sensitive automatic door locks and one new exterior color (Tuscan Sun) to its minivan for 2009. Industry rumors indicate that 2009 might be the last year for the underappreciated Quest.

2009 Nissan Rogue

Introduced as a new model in 2008, the Nissan Rogue receives several minor changes for the 2009 model year. They include automatic speed-sensing door locks, a fold-down front passenger seat, a driver seatback pocket, and a dual-level center console tray. The SL model receives a drive computer, outside temperature display, mood lighting, and vanity mirror illumination. The Rogue FWD SL model may now be equipped with leather upholstery. The Rogue FWD Premium package gains Bluetooth phone connectivity and the Nissan Intelligent Key for 2009.

2009 Nissan Titan

The front bumper on all 2009 Nissan Titan models will be painted to match the body, and speed-sensing automatic door locks have become standard equipment. Nissan has added a "Texas Titan" package (for Texas residents) or a "Heavy Metal" package (for the rest of us) to the options list. Both add a billet chrome grille, chrome step rails, and chrome wheels. A new Max Utility package adds step rails, extendable side mirrors, and a towing kit with a lower final drive ratio.

Like the Nissan Frontier pickup, the Nissan Xterra SUV receives a minor facelift for 2009. In addition, the seats have been improved and side curtain air bags that cover both passenger rows are now standard. The upholstery has been upgraded, and the SE model now comes with leather seating surfaces. The Xterra Off-Road model includes roof-mounted lights.
