New for 2018:Land Rover

Land Rover updates all of its vehicles for 2018, including the recently redesigned Discovery. A new Range Rover Velar model debuts, too, slotting between the Range Rover Evoque and Sport models. Highlights include new engines for the Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque, a new InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment and instrumentation system for top-shelf Range Rover models, and upgraded technology and comfort features for most models.

2018 Land Rover Discovery

  • Expanded availability of turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6 engine
  • Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking and an InControl Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch display screen
  • Available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight connected devices
  • HSE and HSE Luxury trims add a standard 12.3-inch digital instrumentation screen and a new second-generation head-up display
  • New paint color: Byron Blue

2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport

  • New turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine delivering 237 horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque through a 9-speed automatic transmission
  • Available high-output turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine for HSE and HSE Luxury trims, producing 286 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque, and accompanied by Dynamic exterior and interior styling
  • Improved seat comfort with revised seat foam, 4-way adjustable lumbar support, and new 12-way power driver’s seat
  • Auto-dimming side mirrors debut and are standard for HSE and HSE Luxury trims
  • Adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring systems are now standalone options
  • Optional onboard Wi-Fi upgraded to 4G LTE connectivity
  • New interior color: Vintage Tan
  • New paint colors: Byron Blue and Namib Orange

2018 Land Rover Range Rover

  • Updated styling and design, inside and out
  • New InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with dual 10-inch display and control screens, a 12-inch instrumentation display, a next-generation 10-inch head-up display, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and more
  • Optional rear-seat entertainment system employing 10-inch touchscreen displays
  • Available 24-way power adjustable front seats with 25 massage programs and heated armrests
  • Revised rear seating layout with greater leg room and reclining seatbacks, complete with USB and HDMI connections, and 12-volt and traditional plug outlets
  • Available massaging, heated, ventilated rear seats complete with heated arm, foot, and calf rests
  • New interior storage solutions ranging from an available rapid-cool refrigerator in the front center console to a power deploying rear center console
  • Standard Nanoe cabin air ionization technology, triple-zone ambient cabin lighting
  • Optional gesture-control sunroof blind, Activity Key wristband that allows key to be securely left in the vehicle during exercise
  • SVAutobiography version debuts with new supercharged V8 engine making 557 horsepower and delivering 60 mph in a claimed 5.1 seconds

2018 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque

  • Two-door hardtop version is cancelled, leaving 4-door hardtop and 2-door convertible versions
  • New HSE Dynamic, Autobiography, and Landmark Edition versions of the 4-door debut
  • New turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine making 237 horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque, and paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission
  • More powerful version of that engine generates 286 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque, is included in HSE Dynamic and Autobiography trim, and is accompanied by Dynamic exterior styling with 20-inch aluminum wheels
  • New auto-dimming side mirrors standard on HSE trim and higher
  • Optional Wi-Fi connection upgraded to 4G LTE connectivity
  • Sports seats are a new option
  • Dark Sport textured interior trim debuts
  • Lunar/Ivory interior color combination for SE Dynamic convertible

  • Subtle exterior styling updates and new wheel designs accompanied by new interior design
  • New front seat designs, ambient cabin lighting, storage solutions including a rapid-cool refrigerator in the center console, and Nanoe cabin air ionization system
  • New InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment and instrumentation system debuts with dual 10-inch high-definition dashboard displays, a 12-inch instrumentation display, and a 10-inch head-up display, new steering wheel controls, and 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot
  • Optional rear-seat entertainment system with 10-inch touchscreen display
  • Available Activity Key wristband, gesture control of overhead sun blind, Advanced Tow Assist technology to make it easier to connect a trailer
  • Premium semi-aniline leather offered for the first time, and is standard with HSE Dynamic and Autobiography trim
  • Updated SVR performance model now makes 575 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque, and accelerates to 60 mph in a claimed 4.3 seconds
  • New interior colors: Vintage Tan and Eclipse
  • New paint color: Byron Blue

  • New 5-passenger, midsize SUV based on same platform used for Jaguar F-Pace
  • Standard and R-Dynamic model series in standard, S, SE, and HSE trim, plus an exclusive, low-volume First Edition variant
  • Turbocharged gasoline 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel 4-cylinder, and supercharged V6 engine choices
  • 8-speed automatic transmission with standard all-wheel drive; numerous available traction technologies
  • Available wheel sizes up to 22 inches in diameter
  • Ground clearance of as much as 9.8 inches with optional air suspension
  • Wading depth of up to 25.6 inches with supercharged V6 engine
  • Interior features InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment and instrumentation technology, available sustainable textile upholstery as an alternative to leather
