Most Reliable 2016 Coupes and Convertibles Under $50,000
To determine which coupes and convertibles are the most reliable, J.D. Power surveys thousands of new- and used-car owners in the process of measuring a variety of individual factors related to vehicle dependability, quality, and overall appeal, among others. Based on data collected in the company's Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) and Initial Quality Study (IQS), J.D. Power predicts how reliable new vehicles are likely to be in the future and publishes Power Circle Ratings that reflect the findings in a consumer-friendly manner.
On the pages that follow, listed in alphabetical order, are the top-rated coupes and convertibles for predicted reliability priced beneath $50,000, according to J.D. Power. In cases where a model is new to the market, J.D. Power considers the historical performance of that brand in order to make a reliability prediction. Note that the ratings measure a model’s predicted reliability in comparison with other models in that specific car’s market segment, and is not a reflection of how it may fare when compared with all models in this guide.
