The top-rated brand in J.D. Power's APEAL (Automotive Performance Execution and Layout) Study for 2017 with three vehicles individually awarded in their respected categories, Porsche positions itself to defend its high standing among customers searching for a premium level of performance, style and luxury in 2018. The Porsche 911 crossed the one-millionth vehicle milestone last year and enters into 2018 by introducing the most powerful street-legal version of the sports car. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 2.7 seconds, the 911 GT2 is equipped with a 700-horsepower twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine. The touring-oriented Porsche 911 Carrera T elevates itself above the base model with a standard rear differential lock, lightweight touches such as reduced sound insulation and optional rear-axle steering. The Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster features bolstered performance through the inclusion of GTS models. Propelled by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine tuned to 365 horsepower, the 2018 Porsche 718 GTS models are also identified by black accents, standard Alcantara seats and a sport exhaust system. A new Sport Turismo version of the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will result in a total output of 680 horsepower from the plug-in hybrid powertrain. The Porsche Macan is largely unchanged for 2018 while the Cayenne will receive a complete 2019 model year redesign.
