For lovers of sedans, the Continental brings back some serious luxury, enough to compete with the likes of Cadillac, Lexus, and even Jaguar. It still sticks with a six-speed transmission, which could be upgraded to an eight, but the 3.7-liter V6 puts out 305 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft of torque. A 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 with 335 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft of torque is also an option. The 2018 Continental comes in four trims: Premier, Select, Reserve, as well as Black Label. The 2018 Lincoln MKZ saw a significant update in 2017, making it better suited to handle the foreign competition.
