Reviews from owners of the 2017 Volkswagen Golf R.
Very low key in styling, but very high in performance and "cult" factor. I often get a thumbs up when I drive by people who know the car. Beautiful styling and amazing performance while still getting excellent fuel economy. I love my R!
The Golf R is truly exceptional. Amazing handling, power, and looks. The tech piece of the interior is great, the all wheel drive makes for a great drive through the mountains, the motor is quick and makes an amazing sound, and the car is unassuming but beautiful.
The Volkswagen Golf-R is a 100% thrill to drive. It has tremendous acceleration and torque off the line. The other hot hatch vehicle owners often try and flex their muscle only to be left in the dust. So much fun to drive, even after 7 months.
