After four years with a used Prius, when it came time for another vehicle we bought a new one, a Prius v. Reliability and efficiency are what we were looking for, and these work well for us. They have adequate power and handle well for normal driving. Road noise is a bit disappointing, as is Toyota'

The Toyota Prius V rates highly for safety and reliability. I purchased the level 5 model in order to maximize safety features and include the headlights Consumer Reports indicates are among the best they've tested. Have taken the car on two trips to New England with excellent results. More legroom

Evidently Prius (and other autos) are now made to be very low on the front. I was not warned that using the typical curbs or concrete tire stoppers in parking lots would not only trash the pan underneath the car but also connect and break the grill in the front--$700 (out of pocket) expense for me,
