Demonstrating a bold corporate direction with the introduction of the tenth generation Civic, Honda has applied fresh engineering and design to two sport utility vehicles for 2017. Unveiled late in 2016 for the 2017 model year, an all-new Honda CR-V compact sport utility vehicle reveals a host of enhancements. Boasting a new refined and quieter ride, the 2017 CR-V is also gaining its first turbocharged engine. While a naturally-aspirated 2.4-liter four-cylinder powerplant remains on the Honda CR-V LX, a turbocharged 1.5-liter offered with higher trim levels generates slightly greater horsepower while also improving fuel economy. EX and higher trim levels of the 2017 Honda CR-V features Honda Sensing safety suite as standard. All-new for 2017, the Honda Ridgeline returns after a brief hiatus. Based on the Pilot and propelled by the same 3.5-liter powerplant, the 2017 Ridgeline resumes its place as an urban pickup truck. The eight-passenger capacity 2017 Honda Pilot gains connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while the HR-V offers a new Lunar Silver metallic exterior color.
