Nissan makes a major gamble in 2004 by entering the large truck market in North American. Leading the charge into the pickup truck segment for Nissan is the Titan. A full-sized pickup powered solely through a 5.6-liter V-8 engine, the 2004 Nissan Titan is offered in King Cab or Crew Cab configurations with the option of four-wheel drive. The Nissan Titan's platform and powerplant are also the basis for the all-new Pathfinder Armada full-sized sport utility vehicle. On top of entering into new vehicle classes, Nissan also introduced a completely redone Maxima sport sedan and Quest minivan for 2004 both pushing sleek new styling. Minor exterior redressing is added to the Nissan Sentra while Brembo brakes are now available on the sporty Sentra SE-R. Following the enthusiastic launch and reception of the 350Z sports car in 2003, Nissan has added a drop-top convertible.
