Niel Hiscox is President of Universus, publishers of Canadian auto dealer magazine and it’s French-language sister title Affaires automobiles, Canada’s leading magazines for new car dealers. In addition to their publishing activities, Universus is provides agency and content marketing services to leading automotive companies at Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. Their work includes marketing strategy, creative development and production, and video production. Niel is a frequent speaker at automotive industry events, including the annual Canadian Automobile Dealers Association’s annual Summit and past instructor at the Automotive Business School of Canada.
In addition to his automotive work, Niel is also a past and founding member of KPMG’s Digital Strategies practice, a management consulting practice providing internet strategy and advisement to senior business leaders in Canada and internationally. His industry involvement includes being executive committee member and board member of Magazines Canada, industry advisory committee member for the Ontario Media Development Corporation, past board and executive committee member of BPA Worldwide, and former board member of the Canadian Business Press. He is also past advisory committee member for Georgian College’s Advertising and Marketing program.
