2009 Saab 9-3

Updated in 2008, the Saab 9-3 premium compact car with 5-passenger seating adds the state-of-the-art Saab XWD cross-wheel-drive system to 2.0T Sport Sedan and SportCombi models. For 2009, the 9-3 lineup includes 9-3 Sport Sedan, 9-3 SportCombi and 9-3 Convertible in 2.0T and Aero models. XWD technology is standard on Aero Sport Sedan and SportCombi models. Other new-for-2009 features include roof rail, interior trim and wheel changes, standard OnStar 8.0 that enables Turn-by-Turn Navigation (late 2008 availability), and Bluetooth hands-free calling.

2009 Saab 9-5

The 2009 Saab 9-5 is largely a carryover this year, with the possibility of a new model to d_but for the 2010 model year. For 2009, Saab 9-5 models are available in 4-door sedan and 4-door SportCombi wagon, as well as Aero versions of both. Revised power window switches in the center console and new colors are added for 2009: Carbon Grey Metallic and Glass Grey Metallic. Nocturne Blue Metallic is reintroduced this year as well. Aero models get new 17-inch alloy wheels, sport-tuned chassis and high-gloss black metallic interior finish.

2009 Saab 9-7X

The Saab 9-7X SUV continues in 2009 as a carryover model, available in three trims: 4.2i, 5.3i and performance-oriented 9-7X Aero. New for 2009: Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity that interfaces with the vehicle's audio system, and two new exterior metallic colors: Diamond Silver and Desert Tan (replacing Titanium Metallic and Cocoa Metallic). Side assist steps in black with a chrome-plated edge will be available as a limited-production option (dealer installation). Also new is a Special Altitude Edition (4.2i and 5.3i models) that includes a DVD touch-screen navigation radio, polished 18-inch alloy wheels, and Carbon Flash (non-Aero models only) and Diamond Silver Metallic exterior colors.
