New for 2019:Porsche

Porsche debuts a redesigned Cayenne for the 2019 model year, and also gives the smaller Macan a freshening that includes new driver assistance and infotainment technologies. The Panamera lineup gains a GTS variant, while the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman are offered in a new performance purist 718 T configuration. Porsche wraps up the final model year for the Type 991 911 lineup with a limited-production Speedster and a track-focused GT3 RS.

2019 Porsche 718 Boxster

  • New 718 T version debuts in both Boxster convertible and Cayman coupe body styles
  • The 718 T is a performance-tuned variant combining the standard turbocharged 2.0-liter flat-four engine with a shortened gear shifter for the 6-speed manual gearbox, a dynamic gearbox mount, a lowered Porsche Active Stability Management (PASM) sports suspension, 20-inch wheels, a Sport Chrono Package, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with a rear differential lock
  • A 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission is an option for the 718 T, and equips the car with Launch Control and a Sport Response button on the steering wheel
  • Interiors are sparsely fitted, with details such as door opening loops and no more than 2-way electric adjustment for the sports seats
  • The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system is a no-charge option
  • 718 T models do have a leather-wrapped GT sports steering wheel with a driving mode switch

2019 Porsche 911

  • Porsche sends off the current generation 911 with new Speedster and GT3 RS model variants
  • Company will produce 1,948 examples of the 911 Speedster
  • Speedster has shortened window frames, tonneau cover replaces convertible top and is secured by buttons, carbon fiber “double bubble” rear bodywork
  • New Heritage Design Packages available for the 911 Speedster
  • GT3 RS boasts a normally-aspirated 520 hp, 4.0-liter flat-six and a specially calibrated 7-speed dual-clutch transmission good for acceleration to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, according to Porsche
  • GT3 RS benefits from light-weighting, such as door opening loops, reduced sound insulation, and available carbon fiber components
  • GT3 RS gets light 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, motorsports technology lifted directly from the track
  • Clubsport and Weissach packages take the GT3 RS to an even greater, race-ready extreme

2019 Porsche Cayenne

  • Redesigned for 2019
  • Trims include Cayenne, S, Turbo, and E-Hybrid
  • Cayenne has turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 making 340 hp
  • Cayenne S has twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 making 440 hp
  • Cayenne Turbo has twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 making 541 hp
  • Cayenne E-Hybrid combines standard V6 with a 14.1 kWh battery pack and an electric motor to produce a combined 462 hp
  • Standard 8-speed automatic transmission and active all-wheel drive (E-Hybrid has a different AWD system)
  • Available with the latest Porsche driver assistance, collision avoidance, and infotainment systems
  • Supplies 27.1 cu.-ft. of cargo space behind the second-row seat (22.7 cu.-ft. with E-Hybrid)
  • Maximum cargo space measures 60.3 cu.-ft. (56.8 cu.-ft. with E-Hybrid)
  • Offers 8.2 inches of ground clearance
  • Rated to tow up to 7,700 lbs.

2019 Porsche Macan

  • Freshened for 2019
  • Macan and Macan S models at launch
  • Macan has turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder making 248 hp
  • Macan S has turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 making 348 hp
  • Revised exterior styling includes standard 4-point LED headlights, full-width LED rear light strip between new 4-point brake lights, new wheel designs
  • Updated interior with new controls and switchgear, cabin air ionizer, heated windshield, available GT Plus steering wheel with Sport Response button in Sport Chrono Package
  • New 10.9-inch infotainment system display backed by next generation Porsche Communication Management technology
  • Porsche Connect provides connected-vehicle services, Wi-Fi, intelligent voice control, online navigation, and more
  • An Off-road Precision App is new, and allows owner to record data from off-roading excursions
  • New Traffic Jam Assist system can steer in heavy traffic
  • New tires and chassis changes improve handling
  • New paint colors: Miami Blue, Mamba Green, Dolomite Silver, Crayon

2019 Porsche Panamera

  • Lineup expands for 2019 with GTS and GTS Sport Turismo
  • GTS trim includes a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, sports exhaust, 3-chamber air suspension, sports chassis tuning, 20-inch wheels, and a Sports Chrono Package
  • Standard Sport Design Package for GTS, complete with blacked out exterior trim and plenty of Alcantara for the interior
  • Panamera GTS makes 460 hp, accelerates to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, according to Porsche
  • New head-up display offered for all Panamera models
