Plymouth Ratings, Reviews and Awards

2001 marked the final year of production for Plymouth, a brand owned and operated by Chrysler. That final year of production was one of great change for the brand name. Two of its flagship vehicles, the Plymouth Prowler and the Plymouth Voyager minivan, were rebranded under the Chrysler marque. The PT Cruiser, originally intended to be a Plymouth vehicle, ended up being branded a Chrysler. Only the Plymouth Neon remained in production and under the Plymouth name in 2001. After a slight refresh the year before that saw the addition of side-impact airbags and the option of leather seating, the 2001 Neon didn't have any significant changes or updates. Available trims for 2001 included the LX and Highline, which has a 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual transmission, plus 14-inch steel wheels, manual windows, and door locks, and an anti-lock brake system.
